Photobooth Machine Price in India (2026): Machines, Printers, Software and UPI

A photobooth machine in India costs about ₹20,000 for a basic 360 platform, ₹1.05 to 1.65 lakh for a mirror or selfie booth, and ₹1.5 to 4.5 lakh for a Korean-style or enclosed booth, based on IndiaMART and TradeIndia listings in October 2026. Most booths ship without the printer, which adds ₹67,000 to ₹77,000 for a DNP DS-RX1HS, and every print then costs about ₹7.5 to ₹8. We build photobooth software and run our own booths, so below is the full bill, not just the machine.

Machine prices are sellers' asking prices on IndiaMART and TradeIndia, mostly without GST. Rental rates come from WeddingWire India listings and Delhi and Mumbai operators. Confirm with the seller before you order.

Photobooth machine price by type

360 booths are the cheapest way in. A phone-based platform lists at ₹35,000 to ₹75,000 depending on screen size, a DSLR "spinny" at about ₹49,000, and an overhead 360 rig at about ₹95,000. They need no printer, so the machine price is close to the real cost.

Magic mirror and selfie booths run ₹1,05,000 to ₹1,65,000 for a 32" to 43" touch screen with a DSLR behind it. These are the workhorses of wedding and corporate rental.

Korean-style booths, the closed cabins that print 2x6 strips, list at ₹1,50,000 to ₹3,00,000. Two Hyderabad and Noida sellers offer one at ₹1,50,000 to ₹1,55,000 with UPI payments built in, but without the printer.

Enclosed mall booths run ₹2,95,000 to ₹4,50,000 for a full cabin.

One question to ask every seller: what software runs it? Many IndiaMART machines ship with "free software" on a USB dongle that never names its maker. That is fine until you want a new screen design, a feature, or help at 9pm on a wedding night.

The printer and the cost of every print

The DNP DS-RX1HS is the printer most booths in India are built around. IndiaMART and TradeIndia list it at ₹66,945 to ₹77,000; imported units with duty reach ₹1,33,000. A listing far below ₹60,000 is often a used unit, so ask for the print count.

A 700-print roll of 4x6 media costs about ₹5,275 to ₹5,645, which is ₹7.5 to ₹8 a print. A Korean-style booth prints two 2x6 strips on one 4x6 sheet and the printer cuts it, so one guest session uses one sheet.

That means at ₹200 a session, paper is about 4% of the price. Your bigger costs are the venue's share and the payment fee.

Self-service booths: does the math work?

Self-service booths in Indian bars, cafes and malls charge about ₹129 to ₹299 a session, and a Hyderabad Korean-style booth charges ₹200 for two strips. Venue deals reported online take 20 to 30% of sales. These figures come from operator and press pages, so check them against your own venue.

Here is the math on one booth, with every assumption visible:

Assumption Figure
Korean-style booth + DNP printer ₹1,55,000 + ₹70,000 = ₹2,25,000
Price per session ₹200
Paper per session about ₹8
Payment fee (2% + GST on UPI) about ₹5
Venue share at 25% ₹50
Left per session about ₹137
Sessions to pay back the kit about 1,640

At 15 sessions a day, the kit pays back in about 3.5 months. At 8 a day, about 7 months. Before you sign with a venue, ask for their footfall and be honest about whether 15 people a day will pay ₹200.

A booth nobody walks past is a ₹2 lakh cupboard with a power cable.

Event rental: the lower-cost start

Most Indian operators start with events, not malls. Listings on WeddingWire India start at ₹10,000 to ₹35,000 an event. A Delhi operator's 2026 rate card puts a standard booth at ₹12,000 to ₹18,000, a mirror booth at ₹20,000 to ₹35,000, and a 360 booth at ₹25,000 to ₹40,000. A Mumbai mirror booth rents at ₹30,000 a day with 100 prints included.

An event kit is a laptop, a camera, lights and a printer, with no venue share and no rent. At ₹20,000 to ₹35,000 a night, a handful of weddings covers the printer.

How guests pay: UPI

UPI is how India pays. NPCI figures reported by the press put September 2026 at 24 billion transactions, around 800 million a day. Guests expect to scan a QR and go.

For a self-service booth that means a dynamic UPI QR on the screen for the exact session price. Payment providers like Razorpay offer this through their QR Codes product. Razorpay's pricing page lists zero MDR on UPI but a 2% platform fee plus GST, so check the rate on your own account before you set a price. Opening an account needs your PAN and bank details as an individual, or business proofs such as Udyam or GST registration as a sole proprietor.

At events the client usually pays you for the night, so guests see no payment screen at all.

Choosing photobooth software

Software Runs on Price Good for
Pixture Mac, Windows Free (watermarked), Event Pass $5 per 24 hours, Pix Pro $40/mo or $300/yr Designing your own booth screens, several booths, UPI through your own Razorpay account
LumaBooth for Windows (dslrBooth) Windows $17/mo yearly, $49.99 monthly, 2 devices One DSLR booth you staff yourself
Touchpix iOS, Android, Windows, Mac From $153.96/yr for 2 active events 360 specialists
Indian software kits (IndiaMART) Windows Listed at ₹2,999 to ₹5,999, AI versions ₹7,999/mo; terms vary A cheap start, often with no named maker
Bundled "free software" Windows Included with the machine Running the booth exactly as shipped

If you run one mirror booth at weddings and stand next to it all night, LumaBooth for Windows is proven and covers two devices. If you want to change your own screens and frames, run booths in more than one place, or take UPI on a self-service booth, Pixture fits better.

That is our own product, and the free plan exists so you can test it on your own camera and printer first. Three things Indian operators use it for:

  • UI Editor: a Figma-like canvas for the booth's screens. A wedding client sends a design, you turn it into tappable screens and push it to the booth the same day, without a programmer.
  • Template Editor: upload the couple's frame and the photo slots fill themselves, no dragging each shot into place.
  • Booth Health: camera, printer, paper and connection for every booth on your phone. When the paper runs low at a sangeet, you know before the queue does.

UPI on Pixture runs through your own Razorpay account, so the money goes straight to you. It is new in 2026: Razorpay has to switch on QR Codes for your account first, and you should run the ₹1 test charge in the dashboard's Settings before the first real guest. Pixture is billed in US dollars. Download it here, and see the pricing page.
