Starting a photobooth business in the Philippines in 2026 costs about ₱45,000 to ₱50,000 for a complete used DSLR booth set, ₱120,000 to ₱240,000 for a mirror booth, and ₱260,000 or more for a self-service Korean-style booth, based on Carousell and Lazada listings in October 2026. Add ₱60,000 to ₱81,500 for a DNP DS-RX1HS printer if the set has none, then about ₱10 for every 4R print. Event packages sell for ₱3,000 to ₱17,000, and mall booths charge guests about ₱200 a session. We build photobooth software and run our own booths, so this guide covers the full bill, including the part nobody prices in pesos: the software.

What a photobooth costs to start
Used and budget sets are how most operators start. Carousell lists complete DSLR "rush sets" at ₱45,999 to ₱49,999 and booth shells with a printer case at about ₱34,999. A wooden enclosed booth with a touchscreen and printer has listed as low as ₱13,000, and a thermal receipt booth for cafes and pop-ups at ₱25,000.
Mirror booths run ₱120,000 to ₱240,000 new on Carousell, the top end being a 70" screen, and used ones from about ₱45,000. Operators on r/phinvest quote ₱150,000 to ₱200,000 for a full mirror booth business package.
Self-service Korean-style booths, the closed cabins you see at SM, list from about ₱260,000. A fully loaded coin-operated booth taking cash, coins, cards and QR has listed at ₱747,000.
Before you pay, ask one question: what software runs it, and who updates it? Many local kits come with a "lifetime software key" that never names the brand. That is fine until the software breaks on a Saturday and the seller stops answering.
The printer and the cost of every print
The DNP DS-RX1HS is the printer Philippine operators build around. Carousell asking prices run ₱60,000 to ₱81,500, with ₱81,500 for a new unit. A roll of RX1 4R media prints 700 sheets and has listed at ₱6,999, which is about ₱10 a print.
That means an event where guests take 150 prints uses about ₱1,500 of paper. On a ₱7,000 three-hour package, paper is around a fifth of the price. Your time, your crew and the drive to the venue cost more.
A Korean-style booth prints two 2x6 strips on one 4R sheet and the printer cuts it, so one guest session costs one sheet.
What to charge at events
Metro Manila and Rizal suppliers publish their rates, and they cluster into three tiers:
| Package | Price (PHP) | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Budget, 2 hours | ₱2,500 to ₱4,000 | POSE from ₱2,999 |
| Standard, 3 hours unlimited prints | ₱5,500 to ₱12,000 | POSE Signature ₱6,999; goodtake. from ₱11,000 |
| Premium, 3 hours | ₱12,000 to ₱17,000 | Mirror booth ₱14,000; 360 booth ₱12,000 |
| Extra hour | ₱1,000 to ₱2,500 | Varies by booth type |
| Corporate, 6 to 10 hours | ₱15,000 and up |
Weddings, debuts and corporate parties are the core of the business. Prices above ₱10,000 usually buy a DSLR, a DNP printer and a custom template, which is what separates a premium operator from a phone on a ring light.
Self-service booths in malls
Korean-style photobooths are now a mall staple. Life Four Cuts alone runs 22 branches in SM malls, with standard frames from ₱200. Photoism charges from ₱200, up to about ₱400 for artist frames. Basic walk-up booths sit at ₱100 to ₱180, premium ones at ₱200 to ₱350.
Here is the payback math for one booth, with every assumption shown:
| Assumption | Figure |
|---|---|
| Korean-style booth + DNP printer | ₱260,000 + ₱70,000 = ₱330,000 |
| Price per session | ₱200 |
| Paper per session | about ₱10 |
| Left per session, before mall share and payment fees | about ₱190 |
| Sessions to pay back the kit | about 1,740 |
At 20 sessions a day, the kit pays back in about three months. At 10 a day, about six. The mall's rent or revenue share is the number that decides everything else, so get it in writing before you order a booth.
A booth in a corridor nobody walks through is a ₱330,000 cabinet.
How Filipino guests pay
Cash is still king at the counter: 42% of point-of-sale spending in the Philippines in 2025 was cash, according to the Worldpay Global Payments Report, with e-wallets (mostly GCash) at 29%. So a self-service booth needs both:
- QR Ph on the screen. One QR that GCash, Maya and bank apps can all scan. The guest pays the exact session price and the booth starts.
- Coins and bills. A multi-coin selector costs about ₱380 to ₱705 from local electronics shops, and coin-and-bill kits list from about ₱950. They connect to the booth computer through a small interface board and usually charge one fixed price per session. Plan for a coin box and a regular collection run.
At events the client has paid for the night, so guests see no payment screen at all. Our guide to photobooth payment options compares card readers, coins, bills and QR in more detail.
Photobooth software, priced for the Philippines
| Software | Runs on | Price | Good for |

| Breeze Booth | Windows | $49/mo or $499/yr | Veteran DSLR operators |
| Snappic | iPad | from $69/mo | iPad booths for brand activations |
Prices from each vendor's own page, October 2026. At ₱7,000 a gig, a $17 a month subscription is paid for by one booking. A one-time license like Sparkbooth or FlayrBooth costs less over the years if you only ever run one event booth and never need remote monitoring or guest payments.
Pixture is our own product, and the free plan exists so you can test it on your own camera and printer first. Three things Filipino operators use it for:
- Template Editor: upload the debutante's frame and the photo slots fill themselves. No dragging each shot into place the night before.
- UI Editor: a Figma-like canvas for the booth's screens. Turn a client's design into tappable screens and push it to the booth the same day, no programmer needed.
- Booth Health: camera, printer, paper and connection for every booth on your phone. When a mall booth's paper runs low at 8pm, you know before the line does.
For events, the Event Pass means you only pay on gig days: $5 for 24 hours on one computer, starting when you press Start Booth at the venue. A quiet month costs nothing. See how to set up an event.
QR Ph on Pixture runs through your own Xendit account, registered in the Philippines, so payments go straight to you. It is new in 2026, so run the ₱1 test charge in the dashboard's Settings before your first real guest. Coin and bill acceptors connect through a USB interface board, and those sessions count as revenue in your dashboard. Pixture is billed in US dollars. Download it here.
