Terms of Service
Last updated: October 4, 2026
Welcome to Pixture. By using our website and services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Pixture services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
Pixture provides cloud-managed photo booth software including a web dashboard for managing templates, layouts, and booth settings, and a macOS and Windows desktop application for running photo booth sessions.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- One account per person or organization. Shared accounts are not permitted.
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
4. Subscription Plans
- Pix Starter: The App is free to download and use with Default Templates at no cost. Output from a computer without Pix Pro or an Event Pass, including prints, carries the Pixture watermark.
- Event Pass: $5 per computer. An Event Pass gives one computer 24 hours of Pix Pro, with all Pix Pro features and no recurring commitment. It can be bought at any time. Its 24 hours start when it is first used on a computer, and once started it cannot be moved to another computer. A running Event Pass can be extended by 24 hours with another Event Pass.
- Pix Pro: Full feature access on one computer. Billed monthly ($40/mo) or yearly ($300/yr, about $25/mo) per computer. New accounts receive 50% off their first transaction for one device.
Pix Pro and Event Passes are granted per computer (a "device") running the Pixture Photobooth app. One device runs one computer. Pix Pro may be moved between computers from the dashboard; an Event Pass stays on the computer where it was started. An account holding no Pix Pro and no Event Pass is on Pix Starter, and every computer on it produces watermarked output, which is not licensed for commercial events. An account holding Pix Pro is on Pix Pro, and a computer beyond its devices stays paired but will not start a session until a device is deactivated on another computer or another one is bought.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for illegal purposes or to capture inappropriate content.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the desktop application.
- Share or redistribute your pairing codes or activation keys.
- Attempt to circumvent subscription limitations or access controls.
- Upload malicious content or interfere with service operations.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of photos and templates you create. Pixture retains ownership of the software, documentation, and service infrastructure. The Pixture name, logo, and branding are our trademarks.
7. Limitation of Liability
Pixture is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for lost revenue, data loss, or damages arising from service interruptions, software bugs, or hardware failures during photo booth sessions. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email.
